Bad Mommy
I was a bad mommy. A very bad mommy. I let my 5 month old try his first sucker. I'm going to blame most of this on Jen's bad influence though. On my own I would have never done this! I think he really enjoyed it. Maybe at first he wasn't sure but when he didn't have it anymore, he wanted it! What do you think??

I hate to admit this but...it's a party in the USA
So, Cooper and I were listening to Launch Radio the other day and as many of you know, I'm an excellent dancer and my son loves watching me dance (one day he too will wow the world with his moves). Well this song came on and Cooper basically went crazy. He gets quite animated when he is excited. I would like to say that I only listened to it because he likes it, however, that's not the case. It's quite catchy, especially the, "Noddin' my head like yeah, movin' my hips like yeah." So anyway, give it a go, you too may be noddin' your head like yeah.
My lifesaver

So my baby who used to be an excellent sleeper has become a restless sleeper. He rolls, grunts, spits his paci out, and wakes himself up. At night I could hear his little stomach rumbling and he would have gas. I did some research on the internet and I found this. Colic Calm. I have tried it over the past few nights and it works really well, almost instantly at calming him down. It's homeopathic and FDA approved so I feel okay about giving it to him. I was a little alarmed because it is black. You have to be careful because if they spit it out it will stain his clothes, so always have a wet wipe handy. Second drawback is that it makes his poop black. I mean BLACK. Like worse than meconium black because there is so much more of it. However, a good nights rest is more important to me so I am willing to sacrifice cleaning those black nasty diapers. It works for colic, gas, stomach aches, bloating, and acid reflux. Like I said, it's a miracle worker!

Roll Over Beethoven
After a long two and a half hour nap, Cooper woke up willing and ready to show off his new skill. I have consistently encouraged him to roll over but all he would do is scrunch his back leg up in an attempt to flip himself. This afternoon he managed to do this maneuver with ease. He's just getting so big! Sniff!
